is a global initiative by the American Heart Association and World Heart Federation focusing on women and making a strong call on them to be aware of their health. Locally, the Heart Foundation of Jamaica is celebrating ‘Go Red for Women’ during the week May 5 – 10, 2019.
We are asking all staff members to wear red to work tomorrow – Friday, May 10, 2019 in support of Wear Red Day. Please take a group photograph and include CPFSA branding. Kindly submit same to Carolyn Johnson as these will be sent to the Heart Foundation of Jamaica for publication on their social media platforms to show support for the initiative.
Remember! You can lower your risk of heart disease by:
- Eating healthy
- Being physically active
- Maintaining a healthy weight
- Limiting alcohol
- Quitting smoking
- Managing diabetes
- Managing stress
- Getting regular health screening
