World TB Day is celebrated annually on 24 March when Dr. Robert Koch announced his discovery of Mycobacterium tuberculosis, the bacillus that causes TB in 1882. This Day is observed to educate people about TB and its impact around the world.

This year’s theme is “The Clock is Ticking”.
