Fostering Love: Every Child Needs A Family
As we commemorate Foster Care Week 2022, activities to be undertaken will be spearheaded by each region to include; Church services, community walks, meetings with organizations, booth set-ups, media interviews, and foster parent appreciation and training. These activities will be strengthened with media promotion through the airing of time signals and public service announcements and social media videos.
More than 20 activities are planned for Foster Care Week 2021; including setting up of information corners, community walk-throughs, presentations to civic groups/Churches, media interviews, newspaper articles, and social media videos.
It’s that time again … Foster Care Week!!
This week (February 13-19) marks the 16th staging of National Foster Care Recognition Week, held this year under the theme: Fostering Love: Every Child Needs a Family. Annually observed during the second week in February, this time is dedicated to honouring our foster parents, raising awareness about the programme, and increasing recruitment of new foster carers.
